Day of Recollection

Courage, Philadelphia

12 January 2008

Father Titus Kieninger, Canon of the Holy Cross

Fr. Titus, professor of ascetical theology at his order’s seminary in Brazil, will be visiting the States during the Christmas season; the Canons are graciously sparing him to us for this occasion. Father enjoys a reputation for his conferences relating to the spirituality and wisdom of the desert Fathers. In 2006, he addressed Mother Angelica and the Poor Clares of her Abbey.

We are looking forward to his coming and hope that new guests as well as those from hither and yon who’ve joined us in past years will be able to join us once again, despite the fairly early date this year, which also falls one week following St. John Neumann’s own feast. What a great way to make a pilgrimage to the tomb of our country’s one and only canonized bishop!
